Vanessa's new live album celebrates the songs of Clube da Esquina, the legendary movement from Minas Gerais, alongside guitarist and composer Toninho Horta.
At the heart of the project is Christopher Cross's “Sailing,” the title track and the creative inspiration behind its breezy yacht rock vibes. Vanessa merges bossa nova rhythms with smooth, iconic hits, creating a fresh yet nostalgic sound. Another highlight is her take on Brenda Russell's “Piano in the Dark,” a duet with Marcelo Lima that adds a Brazilian touch to the classic.
Produced by Vanessa Falabella, with Marcelo Lima and Guillermo Moane as co-producers, the album takes listeners on a journey through southern waters — sunsets, relaxation, Brazilian groove and elegance in every arrangement.
